6.500.000 USD

Dear Friend,

I know it will be a surprise for you to receive my email through the Internet which may not be the best method of sending you this kind of proposal due to the abuse of the Internet. My name is Morgan Peterson, I work with the Finance Unit Netherlands, we are in charge of auditing foreign account holder.
During our last annual inspections of all foreign account holders, My department found a dormant account with an enormous sum of US 6,500,000.00 (Six Million Five Hundred Thousand US Dollars) which was deposited by one Mr. Jerry R. Williams a British citizen,in regards to why the account has be dormant My department set up an investigation comity to investigate the account, and I was the chairman of the investigation comity. to my investigation why the account has not be operative for so long I found out that the account holder has died in a plane crash in November 1999 which lead to the dormant of the account.
As I investigate further I found out the late Jerry R. Williams has not indicated any beneficiary or next of kin in his certificate of deposit with the bank, and to the law of my country here in Netherlands when an account is dormant for more than eight 8 years the authority (Ministry of finance) has every  tendency to confiscate the account and the money will go into the government account. In regards to that,am contacting you to stand as the beneficiary to the deceased account since you are not a Netherlands citizen. I will provide all support proof documents to put you in the place of beneficiary to the funds upon your interest to the proposal.
I will need us to work together if you are interested, I assure you of all useful information that we enable us transfer the money out of the deceased account into your own designated bank account in your country legally.Kindly Write me directly with your Name, Address, Telephone and fax number on my private email: morgan.peterson2@aim.com so I can explain the procedures to you better on telephone conversation as I await your prompt responds

Best Regards,
Morgan Peterson

Hello Morgan!

You know.. It was not really a huge surprise for me receiving your e-mail through the internet. In fact it would have been a lot more surprising receiving your e-mail into my fysical mailbox.

Since you are introducing yourself by telling wich company you work for and wich position you have, I will be polite and do the same! My name is Ulle Östmark and I work as an executive leader at a non profit ridning school for disabled.

I must say you do have very strange laws in Netherlands. Are you sure that it is true that if an account is dormant for only eight years, it gives the government the right to take the money? Just like that? And if so - are you absolutely sure that this law does not affect people who are not citizens of the Netherlands? I mean - the money is still in your country. But if so, under which law is the money if not under the law of the Netherlands? Wouldn't it most likely be under British laws, since the account holder is British?

Anyway, i truly appreciate your offer and I am sure you know all about these laws, since it is your proffession. I'm sorry if I made it seem like I ever doubted that you are true. It is extremely kind of you to manage this transfer and all the needed paper work for to get the money to a person you do not even know. The most impressive thing of all is the fact that you are doing it in your spare time, managing it all from your private e-mail. Thanks a lot!

Dear friend, you do have all my confidence and trust, because this offer of yours seems to be perfectly true. There is only one thing that makes me suspicious, please let me explain! As I took a class about "safety on the internet" this spring, the educator told me that I was to be a little bit suspicios if an e-mail is automatically marked as "spam". He also told me that I should not answer that kind of e-mails, nor click any links in it.

Finally, my solution of this little problem was to answer your e-mail in my blog and just send you a link to it.
I am looking forward to hear from you again.
Best regards
